Things that scare Ski Patrol:

Rain in January.
“Watch this.”
Skiing under a closed rope.
A binding held together with duct tape.

Happy Halloween.

Olympian has always relied on Mother Nature.

Not anymore.

For the first time, snowmaking is coming to Olympian, including its nearly 40° headwall.

For Patrol, more consistent coverage means more opportunities to get one of Greek
Peak’s most challenging trails open and keep it skiing well.

This year, we can all be Olympians!

A little more room for turns.

Yesterday’s Community Glade Day was a good one.

Thanks to everyone who showed up, put in the work and helped get the mountain ready.

Now cover it in snow.😄

Powder days don’t start on powder days.

Community Glade Day is this Saturday, October 24th at 8AM at Greek Peak.

We’ll be out there clearing brush, moving debris and getting the glades ready for when the snow finally shows up.

Come get your hands dirty now so we can all have a little more fun later.

Glade Day is coming up.

A little work in the woods now means better lines when the snow starts piling up.

Join Greek Peak Ski Patrol for a day of clearing brush, opening up terrain, and getting the glades ready for winter.

Not afraid of a little work? We'd love the help.

Volunteers get food, drinks, and a T-shirt. Not a bad deal for a day in the woods.

First snow of the season at Greek Peak!

The snow is starting to fly, and the work behind the scenes is in full swing! The Greek Peak Mountain Resort patrol is busy getting our buildings, sleds, equipment, and everything else ready for another winter on the mountain.
The patrol is a year round operation. From training and equipment maintenance to planning and preparation, our team works throughout the year to be ready when you need us.

The countdown to winter is on! We’re looking forward to another great season at Greek Peak.

Every skier has one.

The run you head for when the snow is good. The one you take for “one last run” even though you already skied it two runs ago.

So we asked Ski Patrol:
What’s your favorite run at Greek Peak?

We’ll share their answers. In the meantime, what’s yours?

We’re checking our equipment for the season. You should be checking yours, too.

Before the first chair, give your gear a good once-over:

Skis & boards: Check edges for rust or damage, inspect bases, and make sure everything is waxed and ready.
Bindings: Look for damage or loose parts. Have a ski shop check your bindings and release settings.
Boots: Check buckles, straps, soles and fit. Kids' feet grow fast.
Helmets: Check for cracks, dents and a proper fit. Replace helmets that have taken a significant impact.

Gear you haven't used since last season: Make sure everything still fits and works.

A little time in the garage now beats finding out something's wrong in the lift line.
