The Crandall Police Department would like to thank the public for their patience and cooperation while the north service road of W. U.S. Hwy 175 is transitioned from a two-way roadway to a one-way roadway. We understand that this change will take some time to get used to. However, we ask that all motorists remain observant of the traffic control signs and devices that have been installed to help ensure everyone’s safety.
Since the early morning hours of Tuesday, there have been no reported vehicle accidents on the service road. During this time, Officers have conducted over 300 traffic stops in that area, with the majority of those stops resulting in warnings for the sole purpose of educating drivers of the change. We encourage everyone to continue spreading the word to prevent confusion and avoid any unnecessary incidents. Thank you.
