The day started with rain, but the sun came out just in time for a great Saturday Food Distribution. ☀️

Today, Hope served 428 families with the help of volunteers from Lakepointe Church, NCL, Kingdom Authority Christian Center, and many other community members.

We're grateful to everyone who showed up this morning to help ensure Dallas neighbors have food on their tables this week. Thank you for being part of it. 💙

A big thank you to the Dallas team from Weaver for spending the day volunteering at Hope!
Their group helped prepare the Food Pantry for tomorrow’s Saturday Food Distribution, ensuring neighbors across Dallas will have access to fresh food and essential groceries.

We’re grateful for community partners like Weaver who roll up their sleeves and help make this work possible.

☀️School may be out for summer, but hunger doesn’t take a vacation.

Many families are now stretching their grocery budgets to cover the breakfasts and lunches their children would normally receive at school.

That's why Hope's Food Pantry's biggest need this month is kid-friendly nonperishable foods for summer break, including:
🥣 Cereal
🥜 Peanut butter
🍝 Mac & cheese
🍎 Fruit cups
🍪 Granola bars
🥫 Canned pasta

Donations can be dropped off Monday–Saturday during business hours at the Donation Drop-Off.

Yesterday, more than 50 volunteers from Lakepointe Church's Rooted groups spent the day serving throughout Hope.

From preparing emergency food bags and restocking the clothing closet to sorting donations and caring for our facilities, their work supported nearly every area of our organization.

Because of their efforts, Hope is better prepared to serve the families who rely on us each week.

A big part of serving neighbors starts behind the scenes.

Today, a Life Group from Lakepointe Church helped sort and prepare food in Hope’s Food Pantry, helping keep shelves stocked and ready for the hundreds of neighbors who rely on Hope each month.

White Rock Center of Hope is looking for a part-time Logistics Associate to help support our mission. This role includes grocery pickups, unloading donations, organizing supplies, and helping keep Hope running smoothly behind the scenes.

Hope will be closed on Monday, May 25 in observance of Memorial Day as we honor and remember those who gave their lives in service to our country.

We will reopen with normal hours on Tuesday. Wishing everyone a safe and meaningful Memorial Day weekend.
