Cooler weather means lots of fun fall events! Last week we were at VIPcare’s Fall Festival, North Alabama AHEC’s Family Care Fair, and Cullman Commission on Aging’s Senior Day at the County Fair.

NARCOG is excited to share that Kara, NARCOG Planner and Loan Fund Coordinator, has graduated from the Council of Development Finance Agencies (CDFA) Development Finance Certified Professional (DFCP) program!

CDFA’s DFCP Program is an intensive training course and learning experience designed to produce graduates with a comprehensive knowledge of development finance concepts, tools, and applicability, as well as a deep understanding of the entire development finance spectrum. Graduates of the DFCP Program gain valuable knowledge and experience within the complex development finance industry and achieve a level of understanding unmatched by any other professional certification program.

NARCOG is beyond proud of Kara and her willingness to keep learning to better serve our communities!

It's that time of year again! NARCOG has officially launched our Annual Holiday Drive.

We are collecting new, unused blankets for seniors and individuals with disabilities who participate in the Medicaid Waiver program across Cullman, Lawrence, and Morgan counties. For many of those we serve, this may be one of the only holiday gifts they receive.

Please help us get the word out and SHARE! We can't do this without the community's support.

We are collecting donations NOW through Wednesday, November 25th.

We are SO grateful to The WAYNE Project for their generous donation of Depends for our clients!

They called us out of the blue and asked if we were able to accept donations like these, and our answer was an enthusiastic YES, PLEASE! We are so thankful they thought of NARCOG and chose to support the people we serve.
