🎃🍬 Community Service in Action! 🧡👏

A HUGE thank you to the amazing former and future D.A.R.E. students of South Beauregard Junior High for lending a helping hand in preparing Trunk or Treat bags for communities throughout Beauregard Parish! 👻🍭

Not only did these students earn valuable community service hours, but they also demonstrated the true meaning of teamwork, kindness, and giving back! ❤️

We are incredibly proud of their hard work, servant hearts, and willingness to make a positive difference in our community. It’s inspiring to see our young people stepping up to serve others!

Thank you for helping make Halloween a little sweeter for families across Beauregard Parish! 🎃🧡

Heads up: Raising your vehicle's head restraint to the correct height helps protect the head and neck of older children, teens and adults when they're riding in a backless booster or buckled in a vehicle seat. Head restraints should provide support to at least the top of the rider's ears. Take a second next time you're in the car to check yours and move it up if needed.

The Beauregard Parish Sheriff’s Office wants everyone to enjoy a FUN and SAFE Halloween!

Before heading out to trick-or-treat, remember these important safety tips:

🎃 Stay Together: Young children should always be accompanied by a trusted adult.

🔦 Be Seen: Carry flashlights, wear reflective clothing, and stick to well-lit areas.

🚸 Watch for Traffic: Use sidewalks and crosswalks, and always look both ways before crossing.

🏠 Choose Safe Stops: Visit well-lit homes. Never enter a stranger’s home or vehicle.

🍬 Check the Candy: Parents and guardians should inspect all treats before children eat them.

🛑 RESPECT NO TRICK-OR-TREAT SIGNS: If you see a sign stating “STOP — No Trick-or-Treat at This Address,” please respect the notice and skip that residence.
