Attention Detroit Youth: Grow Detroit's Young Talent's (GDYT) application will be opening on March 13! Just in time for 313 Day!

The GDYT program offers meaningful, paid summer job and training opportunities for Detroiters, ages 14 to 24. If you or someone you know is interested in registering, go to gdyt.org to learn more and apply starting 3/13/26.

The Detroit Pistons will celebrate 313 Day on March 13 with Detroit-inspired festivities at Little Caesars Arena, including a halftime performance by Skilla Baby and the Detroit Youth Choir, fan activations, giveaways and special merchandise designed by Big Sean and local artists. Detroit continues to receive positive national attention with the latest shoutout coming via Travel + Leisure.⁠

Over the weekend, the publication published a glowing feature on the city titled “I Live in the Midwest—This Is the Most Underrated City Everyone Should Visit Once.” Journalist Iona Brannon highlighted many of Detroit’s attractions, including neighborhoods, restaurants, hotels, nightlife, and much more.⁠

Brannon notes, “Here, visitors will find a walkable downtown centered around a restored plaza and a meandering riverwalk. The city also has a rich arts and culture scene.”⁠
