This handsome black Lab was found by Deputy Dowen at Lions Park. While he seemed to be enjoying the beautiful weather and our lovely park, he’s now enjoying a little ride-along with our kind Sheriff! 🐶🚔

🚧 ROAD PAVING UPDATE – CREYTS ROAD 🚧

Road crews will be returning to Creyts Road tomorrow, Wednesday, October 21, at 8:00 AM to continue paving.

Please allow extra time for your commute, as traffic delays and possible road closures are expected. If possible, please use an alternate route to avoid the construction area.

🚧 Creyts Road Paving Update 🚧

The Village of Dimondale has received an update from the contractor that paving on Creyts Road is expected to begin Wednesday or Thursday this week.

During paving, Creyts Road may be closed to through traffic. Please plan for extra travel time due to potential delays, and use an alternate route if possible.

We appreciate your patience and cooperation as this road improvement project moves toward completion. Thank you for your understanding! 🚜

📢 The Village of Dimondale is Seeking Board of Appeals Members!

Are you interested in serving your community and helping shape the future of Dimondale? We currently have two openings on the Village’s Board of Appeals!

The BOA plays an important role in the Village’s zoning process by reviewing requests and helping ensure zoning regulations are applied fairly and appropriately.

What does the Board of Appeals do?
🏡 Reviews Appeals: Considers appeals when someone believes a zoning decision was made incorrectly.

📏 Considers Variances: Reviews requests for exceptions to certain zoning requirements, such as property setbacks or building height restrictions.

🗺️ Interprets Zoning Regulations: Helps clarify zoning ordinance language and resolve questions about zoning map boundaries.

Serving on the BOA is a great opportunity to learn more about local government, contribute to your community, and help make thoughtful decisions about property and development in Dimondale.
