9:00am Power has been restored. Thank you for your patience.

8:45am We’ve located a blown fuse. As soon as we confirm that there are no obstructions on the line utility crew will replace the fuse and power should be restored. We will continue to update. 

7:45am We are aware of a power outage affecting the area of E College Ave and N Jones St. Repair crews are on the way to locate and restore power. We will update here as soon as we have more information. Thank you for your patience.

Trick or Treat in Doerun is Saturday, October 31st, from 6 to 8 PM.

Come by and visit our Haunted Jail at the Doerun Police Department and take a quick walk through and grab some candy, free of charge!

Our water tower is looking brand new! We recently had a contractor out to do a scheduled pressure wash of the outside of the tower and remove the dirt and buildup that had collected over the years. Here are a few photos of the crew at work.

This is just the start. Next year, we have a complete overhaul of the tower scheduled, inside and out, including a fresh coat of paint and a redone city seal. Take a look next time you drive by. We think it looks great, and we hope you do too!

⚠️ WATER LEAK ⚠️

7:00pm: repairs are complete and water service has been restored. Thank you all again for your patience.

5:00pm: Repairs are still ongoing.

2:00pm: Public Works personnel are addressing a water leak on N. Green St. Expect temporary water outages in the area during repair efforts. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

We've got a chili cook-off, costume contest, plenty of vendors, and a showing of Halloweentown at 7 PM! Don't forget to bring your chairs and blankets for the movie.

Because the 10th fell on a weekend and City Hall was closed Monday for Columbus Day, Tuesday, October 13, was the payment deadline. Customers who paid on Tuesday and were charged a late fee will receive a credit for that fee on their next bill. No action is needed on your part.

EARLY VOTING STARTS TOMORROW!

Advance voting for the City of Doerun City Council election begins tomorrow, Tuesday, October 13, at Doerun City Hall.

Where: Doerun City Hall, 223 West Broad Avenue
Weekdays: October 13–30, Monday–Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Saturday voting: October 17 and October 24, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Election Day: Tuesday, November 3, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
