Halloween at Sterling Jr. High was a true tribute to 250 years of American greatness! 🇺🇸 Our staff stepped into the shoes of the visionaries, trailblazers, and patriots who shaped our nation—including our Founding Fathers, Clara Barton, service members, suffragettes, aviation pioneers, country legends, astronauts, and Supreme Court justices, just to name a few.

Our staff brought the iconic American Spirit to life this Halloween. Proud to honor our nation's history! We are honored to teach, inspire, and celebrate the values and icons that make America great.

A HUGE shout-out to the incredible staff at Lee Elementary—Mrs. Huge, Mrs. Countryman, Mrs. Miller, Mrs. Shane, and Mrs. Lee!
Today, our 9th graders interested in Early Childhood and Elementary Education had the amazing opportunity to step into TK, Kindergarten, and 2nd-grade classrooms for a hands-on job shadow experience. Our students gained so many valuable takeaways and left fully inspired—and already asking when they can go back!

Thank you to these wonderful teachers for opening your doors and making such a lasting impact on the next generation of educators!

Congratulations to our former Sterling Cougars — Ava, Halle, Memphis, Malani, Rhemi, Rae, Taylor, Bella, Marissah, Jayda, and Allie — along with our very own Ms. L! 🎉

They captured another slowpitch trophy and brought home 3rd Place at State! 🥎👏

Sterling is so proud of all of you!

Thank you to the Wenatchee Valley YMCA Early Learning Program for hosting our 9th-grade students interested in childcare and early childhood education!

Our students gained invaluable hands-on, real-world experience getting to see classroom management, interactive learning environments, and daily operations in action.

We deeply appreciate your community partnership and support for our students' career goals. Stay tuned to see where our 9th graders head next for more job shadow experiences this school year!

Our Sterling girls’ soccer team played at home last night against Orchard Middle School, and we won 8-1. The following Sterling players scored: McKenzie (5 goals), Genesis (1 goal), Jemma (1 goal), & Penny (1 goal). Our entire defense worked hard to keep the opponent from scoring many goals. McKenzie set a new record with 29 goals in one season (the previous record was 28)! Our team went undefeated with an 8-0 record! Coach Ramirez is very proud of all his soccer players!
