📣 Erie County Sheriff's Office Update

The Erie County Sheriff's Office held its first-ever Mobile License to Carry (LTC) Event last night at the Corry VFW, and it was a great success! 👏

We’re excited to announce that starting in 2026, we’ll be bringing this convenient service to communities throughout Erie County. A full schedule of dates and locations will be released at the beginning of the new year.

These events will make the entire LTC process simple and accessible — from application and fees to the PICS check and photo — with your LTC permit mailed directly to you.

We look forward to seeing you in 2026 as we continue to make this service more accessible to all Erie County residents! 💪

🚓🎉 National Night Out 2025 Recap! 🎉🚓

The Erie County Sheriff’s Office had an incredible time participating in this year’s National Night Out events across Erie County, PA! Sheriff Campanelli and deputies were out in full force, connecting with the community, and spreading smiles with a special surprise — 500 toys donated by the First Responders Children’s Foundation in partnership with CSX.

A huge shoutout to Deputy Dingfelder, who took the lead in organizing the grant that made this possible. Thanks to his efforts, we were awarded the maximum donation of toys!

Our team split into five two-deputy units and covered:
✅ Greene Township
✅ Wattsburg
✅ West Ridge Fire Department
✅ Elk Valley Elementary
✅ One roving unit

And let us tell you — the excitement was real! Within the first 15 minutes, nearly every toy was handed out to local kids. Watching their faces light up was the highlight of the night for all of us. 💙

Thank you to everyone who came out to support and celebrate with us. We’re proud to serve Erie County!
