Our Pumpkin Decorating Contest brought out some serious creativity this year, and we were so impressed with all the amazing entries.

From spooky to silly and everything in between, we loved seeing all the fun ideas and imagination that went into decorating these pumpkins. We sure have some talented folks in our little community! 🧡

A big THANK YOU to everyone who participated, and congratulations to all of our winners. We hope you had as much fun decorating your pumpkins as we did seeing them.

Just another reason we love Halloween in our small town.

Halloween on Nolichucky was a SPOOKTACULAR good time!

What a fun night in downtown Erwin. From the adorable little ghosts and goblins to the creative costumes and smiling faces everywhere we looked, it was a Halloween filled with lots of treats and sweet memories.

A big THANK YOU to the Town of Erwin for putting together such a wonderful event. The Unicoi County Chamber of Commerce was excited to be part of the fun. And boy, did we pop some popcorn! The Chamber popcorn machine was working overtime tonight, and we loved every minute of handing out treats and seeing all those happy faces.

We sure do love Halloween in our little town! 🎃🧡

🌟 Board Member Spotlight: Brandy Grindstaff!🌟

For Brandy Grindstaff, caring for others has always been a way of life! Growing up in a nursing home where her parents worked, Brandy fondly remembers having 50 “mamaws and papaws” who helped shape her passion for compassion, connection, and community.

Today, Brandy serves as Senior Executive Director at Life Care Center of Elizabethton, bringing nine years of experience as a licensed nursing home administrator and a heart for servant leadership. She also serves on the Tennessee Health Care Association Board of Directors and a national committee for the American Health Care Association.

Happy National Cat Day from the Unicoi County Chamber of Commerce!🐱💙

Today, we're celebrating our two hardest-working (and most handsome) employees, Oliver and Owen! Between greeting visitors, supervising office operations, and taking their well-deserved naps, these two have quite the busy schedule! They even have a column in the Erwin Record. Talk about local celebrities! 🌟

Of course, we couldn't let National Cat Day pass without sharing their recent glamour shots taken by intern Ella Barr. Just look at those handsome faces! 📸😻

Be sure to catch their column in the Erwin Record and stop by the Chamber to say hello to our favorite furry coworkers! Happy National Cat Day O-boys!🐾💕

Make sure you check out Oliver and Owen's column in this week's The Erwin Record. The O-Boys are back from their vacation during the Apple Festival and are now official columnists for the newspaper.

Oliver said we need to clarify that they would soon be "award-winning columnists once their fans and paparazzi begin sharing their stories".

Check out this week's Erwin Record to read their column or click on the link below for the online edition.

Apparently, Amanda and Cathy decided it would be a good idea to invite about 150,000 people to Erwin for something called the Unicoi County Apple Festival. One hundred and fifty thousand people! We leave the office for a few days, and this is what happens.
