🚨 Only 2 days left to help save lives! 🚨
Our American Red Cross Blood Drive is this Sunday, October 25, from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM in the Social Quarters here at Moose Lodge 1874 (25721 Jesmond Dene Rd, Escondido).
We still have a few open slots and really need your help to hit our goal. Every single donation can impact up to three patient lives!
💡 Double your impact with a Power Red donation!
Have you heard of Power Red? It’s an option where you safely donate a concentrated dose of red blood cells while your plasma and platelets are returned to you. It takes just a little longer than a whole blood donation, but each Power Red donation counts as TWO products toward our lodge's goal!
Quick Eligibility Check for Power Red:
• Men: 17+ years old, at least 5'1", and 130+ lbs.
• Women: 19+ years old, at least 5'3", and 150+ lbs.
(The Red Cross team will double-check eligibility on Sunday!)
👉 Pro Tip for Booking:
If you go to sign up and only see a "Power Red" appointment time left, book it anyway! You can always opt to switch to a traditional whole blood donation when you arrive. We don't want anyone missing out on the chance to give.
Friendly Reminders for Sunday:
• Bring a donor card or a government-issued photo ID.
• Get a good night's sleep, drink plenty of fluids, and eat a healthy meal before you come.
• Wear clothing with sleeves that can easily be raised above the elbow.
• Save time by completing your RapidPass online at redcrossblood.org/rapidpass on Sunday morning before arriving!
