đź“Ł Small Project Fund Open Call Extended to October 23rd!

The Village of Falconer has extended the Small Project Fund Open Call through Friday, October 23rd to provide additional time for interested property owners, businesses, nonprofit organizations, and other potential project sponsors to submit proposals.

Additional submissions will help demonstrate local demand for establishing a Small Project Fund through the Falconer NY Forward program. If created, the fund could support smaller-scale building renovations, façade improvements, business assistance, and other eligible projects within the NY Forward Study Area.

If you are considering a project, now is the time to submit your proposal!

📢 Falconer NY Forward LPC Meeting #3
The Falconer NY Forward Local Planning Committee (LPC) will hold its third meeting on Wednesday, September 30th from 5-7 pm at Fire Hall Training Center (115 Davis St).
During this working meeting, the LPC will review all project application submissions, discuss key findings from the Downtown Assessment, and continue refining the vision and strategies that will guide Falconer’s revitalization.
LPC meetings are open to the public, and an opportunity for public comment will be provided near the end of the meeting.

There is still an opportunity to share your input! An online feedback form is now available for residents, business owners, property owners, and other community members who were unable to attend the workshop.
The form provides an opportunity to review the topics discussed during the workshop and share ideas about Falconer’s needs, opportunities, and future revitalization. Feedback received through the form will help inform the Local Planning Committee and the development of the Strategic Investment Plan.

BPU WATER MAIN FLUSHING: Pre-flushing in Falconer will start at 1pm Friday, September 25 in the areas of Aldren, Mapleshade, Ralph and Valmeere. The Village of Falconer will be flushed from 8 p.m. Saturday, September 26, overnight into Sunday, September 27, until the village is completely flushed.
Discolored water may be seen in the village during the Falconer flushing.
