Back, back, back, BACK! That’s a 4-peat! 🏆🎶
On behalf of Fremont RE-2 School District, congratulations to the Florence Howling Husky Pride on being named the Colorado Class 1A State Marching Champions for the fourth consecutive year!
We are incredibly proud of our talented band students and the countless hours of hard work they have put in since July. Success isn’t achieved in a single moment. It’s built through dedication, teamwork, and showing up each day ready to give your best. These students have done exactly that!
Congratulations also to our amazing band staff, a special group of music educators whose dedication and commitment to our students continue to make this program shine.
Thank you to everyone who supported the band throughout the season. From our families and staff to our community and all those working behind the scenes, your time, encouragement, and support helped make this accomplishment possible.
These students represent the very best of Fremont RE-2, and we are so proud of everything they have accomplished!
Go Huskies! 💙🐾
Back- back- back- BACK!!!!
That’s a 4 peat! For a fourth consecutive year the Florence Howling Husky Pride is the Colorado class 1A state marching champions!!!!
We are so proud of our students and all of the hard work they put in!!! These students have put in countless hours of effort since the beginning of July. Success is not achieved in one single moment but by consistently doing the right things each day. That is what these students have done! We couldn’t be more proud of them and all of their hard work!
Congratulations to the amazing band staff! It’s truly a special group of music educators dedicated to the success and well being of our ensembles members!
However, all of this hard work and success cannot happen without the help of many great people:
Thank you to all the parents who this season have pushed props, drive trucks, feed kids, hemmed pants, donated food, drive kids too and from rehearsal, served food, bought instruments and supplies. Thank you for believing in your students and for encouraging them to get a great music education. In a world of instant gratification music is one thing that takes time and patience.
Thank you to the Fremont RE-2 transportation department to getting us to all of our events safely this year in all sorts of weather! Rather it was rain or shine you guys were amazing!
Thank you to the administration and staff at Fremont RE-2, but especially at FJSHS! Having a successful band program can be a challenge sometimes. However, we thank you for your continued support of our staff and students. Working to make schedules happen, funding when needed and being the best cheerleaders in the world! Thank you!
Thank you to our great clinicians that worked with the band this year! Genice Matzke, Stoney Black and Daniel Isaac! Your valuable feedback helped make us better each day!
Thank you to the Colorado Bandmasters Association for putting on such a wonderful season for all students in the marching arts! Thousands of students across the state this year putting countless hours to be the best version of themselves and have an incredible show! CBA always provides a great judging panel and facilities with great volunteers to help all kids have a successful day!
Finally, thank you to the greater Fremont RE-2 community! Thank you for donating to the band, for cheering us on at parades and football games. Our small community always does a great job at coming together for each other and we see your support and appreciate you!
There are so many things to be proud of in our program! These young men and women represent all that is good in the world and our the leaders of the next generation! Keep up the good work! We hope everyone will come see our holiday concerts and see our Jazz 1 be recognized at the Colorado Music Educator conference at the Broodmoor at 4pm on January 28th as an honorary performing group!
