Future Lambkins...mark your calendars!

Join us for the FCHS 8th Grade Open House & Exhibition of Learning on Wednesday, December 2nd at 6 PM.

Come explore everything that makes Fort Collins HS such a special place. Families will have the opportunity to explore our wide range of academic programs, including our school-wide AVID program and outstanding AP course offerings. You will also have a chance to hear performances from our first-class Performing Arts Department, experiencing one of our most beloved traditions, the Friday afternoon stair sing. You'll get to meet coaches and club sponsors, learning about our excellent athletic programs, clubs and activities and what they bring to our school community. You'll get to see our current Lambkins' learning on display at the Exhibition of Learning. Finally, you'll have the chance to connect with our incredible faculty members, administrators, counselors, and current students to get a feeling for what life at FCHS really feels like.

At FCHS we believe in helping every student find their place, discover their strengths, and reach their full potential. Come see what makes FCHS unique and why we believe this place is special.

💜💛 UNDEFEATED. UNSTOPPABLE. 💛💜

That’s a wrap on an incredible season for our FCHS Unified Football team, and they went UNDEFEATED! 🔥 These Lambkins showed up, competed hard, celebrated each other, and reminded us what being part of a team is ALL about. We couldn’t be prouder!

And we can’t forget our Unified Cheerleaders! These rockstars showed up EVERY. SINGLE. GAME. to bring the energy, hype up our players, and cheer our team on from the sidelines. That’s what Lambkin pride looks like!

An undefeated season is amazing, but the friendships, teamwork, inclusion, and joy these athletes brought to the field? THAT’S the real win.

Today we’re proud to highlight GiveNext, a student-led philanthropy program that empowers young people to become community-minded leaders by learning about local nonprofits, exploring community needs, and deciding how to direct grant funding to make a meaningful impact. Through GiveNext, students develop leadership, collaboration, and critical-thinking skills while discovering how they can help strengthen the communities around them.

GiveNext connects students with nonprofit organizations serving Northern Colorado, helping them understand the challenges facing our neighbors and the many ways they can be part of the solution. It’s about more than giving money, it’s about building empathy, taking initiative, and learning that young people can make a real difference!

Yesterday our GiveNext students attended Kickoff Day at Colorado State University, joining students from across Northern Colorado to connect with local nonprofit leaders, learn about important community issues, and explore ways to create positive change. The experience is the starting point for a year of learning, collaboration, and student-led grantmaking. Our very own Sebastian Meier even served as the student emcee for the kickoff event. He represented FCHS well! And a huge "thank you" to Mr. McDonald for making this experience possible for our FCHS students.

We’re excited to see our Lambkins put the Lambkin Way into action by leading with empathy, taking responsibility, and making a difference beyond our school walls.
