Big congratulations are in order for K-9 Lola, who officially graduated from the Good Citizen Class earlier this week!

Lola has been working hard, learning new skills, and taking steps toward becoming the best four-legged partner she can be. We’re so proud of her progress and can’t wait to see all the amazing things she’ll accomplish!

Of course, we’re sure Lola thinks the real reward for all that hard work should be extra treats, belly rubs, and playtime!

Our SROs had a blast participating in this year’s Trunk-or-Treat at the Rec Center! It was wonderful seeing all the creative costumes, sharing plenty of smiles, and enjoying a fun evening with our community.

Events like these are a great reminder that some of the best parts of our job are getting out into the community, connecting with families, and making positive memories with the kids we serve.

A big thank-you to the Fremont Rec Center for putting together such a fun event and for allowing us to be part of the Halloween festivities!

We hope everyone has a safe, happy, and spooktacular Halloween!

The Sandusky County Sheriff’s Office School Resource Officers were grateful for the opportunity to help with the e-bike safety class organized in partnership with Fremont City Schools, the local NAACP, the Sandusky County Health Department, and Fremont Police Department!

Our SROs were proud to be part of an effort focused on educating our community and helping riders stay safe while enjoying e-bikes. We appreciate everyone who attended and made this class possible!

Working together with community partners helps us continue building safer, stronger communities! Thank you again to Fremont City Schools for letting us host the class at Fremont Middle School!

The Sandusky County Sheriff’s Office School Resource Officers are excited to partner with several other local agencies to bring an e-bike safety class to our community!

This is a great opportunity to learn important bike safety tips, build confidence, and help keep our young riders safe while enjoying the road and trails.

The class is THIS THURSDAY!

There’s still time to sign up, so don’t miss out! We encourage everyone interested to register and take advantage of this great learning opportunity.

A big thank-you to all the agencies working together to make this class possible. We look forward to seeing you there!

Today was a special day for our favorite four-legged friend, K-9 Lola! The schools helped celebrate her birthday and made sure she felt extra loved on her special day!

Lola does so much to bring smiles to students and staff throughout Sandusky County, and it’s always wonderful to see the schools show her just how much she means to them. From wagging tails to happy faces, it was a pawsitively wonderful way to celebrate!

Help us wish K-9 Lola a very HAPPY BIRTHDAY in the comments!

On August 26th, an incident occurred in Gibsonburg that resulted in Gibsonburg Police Department Officer Kisha being injured.

We wanted to share an event that is being hosted in Gibsonburg for her. More details about the event can be found in the event information being shared by the organizers.

From all of us with the Sandusky County Sheriff’s Office SRO team, we continue to keep Officer Kisha, her family, and her fellow officers in our thoughts and wish her continued strength and recovery.

Today, the Sandusky County Sheriff’s Office School Resource Officers join communities across our nation in remembering the lives lost on September 11, 2001.

We remember the nearly 3,000 innocent people who never made it home to their families. We remember the firefighters, law enforcement officers, emergency medical personnel, and countless others who ran toward danger to help those in need. We also remember the families, friends, and communities whose lives were forever changed that day.

September 11 reminds us of the courage, sacrifice, and selflessness demonstrated by so many.

We remember. We honor. We will never forget.
