✨ Candle Lighters Proposal Luncheon ✨

Today, Candle Lighters members gathered for our annual Proposal Luncheon, where we had the opportunity to hear from several outstanding local nonprofits and community organizations seeking support for projects that will benefit the Tri-City community.

We were inspired by presentations from:
• Fremont Centerville Little League Niles Centerville Little League
• HERS Breast Cancer Foundation HERS Breast Cancer Foundation
• Mission Peak Heritage Foundation (Shinn House)
• New Haven Schools Foundation
• Niles Essanay Silent Film Museum
• Ohlone Humane Society TNR Program
• Patterson Elementary School Patterson Elementary School
• Thornton Middle School Band Program @
• Tri-City Athletic Center

Our members now have the challenging task of ranking these worthy proposals as part of the grant selection process.

We also enjoyed a very nice meal while learning more about the incredible work being done throughout our community. 😊

We are hopeful that, through the support of our volunteers, sponsors, visitors, and community members, we can raise enough funds this year to fulfill all of these deserving requests and continue making a positive impact across the Tri-City area.
