Day 3: New Technology.

This January, we upgraded our PastPerfect System from being stored on a single, physical laptop to be fully digitized with a cloud backup. PastPerfect is an inventorying and collections management system that allows museums to track specific data like object condition, source, history, location, and more. This upgrade allows our staff to access the archives from any location, as well as new features such as automated loan processes, an image gallery of the entire collection, and the ability to attach additional sources such as documents and links to specific artifacts. This new technology is really helpful when you have over 14,000 items in your collection!

Day 2: Paint.

This paint box from the mid-1900s comes from Betty Hedenskog. It contains an artist's palette, a piece of cloth, 2 small corks, and a stained paintbrush. How have our painting tools changed in just about 100 years? How have they stayed the same?

Day 1: My Museum.

Welcome to the Frisco Historic Park & Museum! We are a collection of original historic buildings filled with artifacts, exhibits, and photographs to share the stories of Frisco's past. We are owned and operated by the Town of Frisco, which allows us to provide free admission the museum, events, field trips, and more.

From fur trapping to silver mining to the women who ran our government in 1916 to the ranch that saved our town, our museum covers as much of our rich history as possible. And for those that are a little more adventurous, our summers include tours to some of the old mines and even more of our history than can fit on display!

You can follow along with other museums participating across all social media platforms using .
Thank you to art curator Gracie Price, aka MagnifyZoology, for 10 years of this wonderful project to celebrate everything great about museums and heritage!

Side B is a recording of Jon Kreamelmeyer and Marie Zdechlik discussing Bob Zdechlik after his passing. They also discuss a ski hill that was built in the early 1960s and how to preserve its history.
