Good evening, Roadrunner families!
This is Dr. Davria with your final weekly update of the school year.
It is hard to believe, but we are down to our final few days of the 2025–2026 school year! Wednesday will be our students’ last day of school. Thank you for your support, partnership, and encouragement throughout this school year.
This week, we will celebrate our students during our End-of-Year Awards Ceremonies. Parents should have received contact from our school counselors if your child was receiving an award.
Tuesday:
7th Grade Awards – 9:30 a.m.
6th Grade Awards – 12:00 p.m.
Wednesday:
8th Grade Awards – 9:30 a.m.
Tuesday night, we will also celebrate our student athletes during our Athletic Awards Night at 6 pm in the gym.
Doors will open to parents 30 minutes prior to each ceremony. Please enter through the gym entrance. For safety purposes, no bags will be permitted.
We also want to share an important reminder regarding report cards. This year, report cards will not be mailed home. Any student who does not receive a printed report card on the final day of school may have one picked up by a parent or guardian from the front office between 8:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., May 26 through May 29. Grades will also be available in Infinite Campus.
Lastly, we regret to inform families that due to a shipping delay, yearbooks will not arrive before the end of the school year. Once they arrive, yearbooks will also be available for pickup during the same dates and times listed above.
Thank you again for a wonderful school year. We hope all of our Roadrunner families have a safe, relaxing, and enjoyable summer break!

Good evening, Southwest families.
This is Dr. D'Avria with a reminder that our 8th-grade students will take their Science EOG tomorrow. We are ready! Our students and teachers have worked incredibly hard this year, and now it’s time to show what we’ve learned.
Please make sure your student gets a good night’s rest and arrives at school on time tomorrow. We plan to begin testing by 9:00 AM. Once testing begins, students cannot be checked out until testing is complete, which will be around 12:30 to 1:00 PM.
Also, cell phones, wireless headphones & earbuds, and smart watches can cause misadministrations. If possible, please keep those at home. Otherwise, please remind your child to turn them off all the way during the day.
Thank you for your support, encouragement, and partnership. We know our students are going to do great!

SWMS Roadrunner Band Registration
Instrumentation (how many of each instrument) must be taken into consideration for the optimal success of next year's band. In other words, we cannot have 50 drummers and 1 flute. Please understand that every attempt to give students their first choice will be made, but not everyone will be assigned...

Good evening, Roadrunner families!
This is Dr. Davria with your weekly update.
This week, we continue our End-of-Grade testing with the Math EOGs and Math 1 EOC on Tuesday. Our 8th-grade students will take their Science EOG on Thursday.
Please help your student be successful by making sure they are well-rested, arrive at school on time, and are ready to do their best. Also, please remember that cell phones and other wireless devices can lead to misadministration of tests. If possible, we encourage students to leave phones and devices at home on testing days.
We still need EOG proctors. If you are available to help support our students during testing, please contact the front office.
Looking ahead, our End-of-Year Awards Celebrations will be held on:
Tuesday, May 19, for 6th and 7th grade
Wednesday, May 20, for 8th grade
Invitations for families of students receiving awards will go home this week.
Finally, an important update: report cards will not be mailed home this year. Any student who does not receive a printed report card on the final day of school may pick one up during designated parent pick-up times the week of June 1. Please remember that all final grades will also be available through Infinite Campus.
Thank you for your continued support as we finish the school year strong!
