West Lake Road responded with 2912 as an attack engine , 2911 handled water supply and 2971 provided support with lighting.

**For Immediate Release**

Last night, the White Springs Fire Association was dispatched for a reported structure fire in the area of Hastings Road shortly after 9:30 PM.

Ladder 3181 responded at the time of dispatch with a crew of three and confirmed a working fire, requesting an additional alarm. All occupants and pets were out of the home upon arrival and the initial crew worked to begin suppression efforts and complete a rapid primary search.

With assistance from mutual aid companies, the fire was brought under control with no reported injuries to occupants or responders.

We are extremely thankful to our mutual aid companies who provided assistance to us during this incident; teamwork like this ensures mission success and both occupant and responder safety during the response.

🚒 Keeping our fire engines ready to respond!

Today, West Lake Road Fire Association completed pump testing on all three of our fire engines.

Why is this important? When crews arrive at a fire, they depend on the engine’s pump to deliver water at the pressure and flow needed to fight it. Pump testing checks that performance under controlled conditions and helps identify problems before they affect an emergency response.

This work is an important part of maintaining our apparatus, protecting our firefighters, and serving our community. A lot of preparation happens behind the scenes so we’re ready when you need us! 🔥💧

Thank You to Yates County Emergency Management for coordinating this each year!

We are pleased to announce that we have backed the apparatus into their bays for the very first time.

More importantly, we have received the blessings of Past Chiefs Phil Ilacqua and Don Hansen (a combined 133yrs of membership).

This project is a dream come true for our members and we are excited to continue serving our community from our new “home”!

Two motorcyclists were seriously hurt after fleeing a traffic stop on Route 14 in Yates County, sparking a chase into Ontario County that ended in Geneva when they hit an uninvolved sedan. Charges pending.
