U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission has issued an alert on GuadianSense / KLTseanife combination smoke and carbon monoxide detectors. They are asking consumers who have these to stop using them immediately due to a risk of serious injury or death. In 2 reported cases, they failed to alert homeowners of smoke in the residence.

Below is more information regarding USCPSC on these detectors. If you have these in your house, it is strongly recommended to replace these units immediately.

Join the Gibbsboro Fire Auxiliary as they host a Halloween Party at the fire hall, Saturday October 24th from 7:00 - 11:00 pm. Music, food, and a costume contest, so come dressed in your best Halloween costume.

We had a great time Saturday at the Family Day. We had several visitors to our table. It always nice to connect with members of the community. The kids enjoyed spraying our fire house with water supplied from our new Engine 68.

We had the new Engine 68 on display. The current Engine 68 has served Gibbsboro for over 30 years. Over the next month, we will be outfitting the new engine with equipment and putting it into service.

Looks like the Auxiliary had a good turn out for the Scarecrow contest. Voting is taking place now until October 18th. You can see and vote at the Borough Hall.

This Saturday is the Community Fun Day hosted by the Gibbsboro School HSA and the American Legion Post. The event is happening at the Cricket Field beginning at 2:00pm. Plan for a fun day with live music, food trucks, games and more. Stop by to see us and the Fire Auxiliary who will be hosting their 3rd Annual Scarecrow Building Contest.

Hoagie sale happening on Saturday September 26th. However we want to announce a bigger event for that day.

Gibbsboro resident Izzy is turning 9 years old. She does not want a party for herself, instead she is using the day to help others. She is hosting an Alex’s Lemonade Stand to help fight childhood cancer. At 9 years old, this remarkable young girl is putting others first. Help her make this birthday a really special one and make stop to the fire hall from 12:00pm to 3:00pm and help her with this worthy cause.

Large community event is happening on Saturday October 3rd at the Cricket Field, starting at 2:00pm. The Gibbsboro School HSA is hosting their Fun Day along with the Gibbsboro American Legion’s Family Fun Day and BBQ. During the event, The Gibbsboro Fire Auxiliary will be hosting their 3rd annual Scarecrow Building Contest. Plan for an afternoon of fun with plenty of activities, live music, games and a lot more. Stop by our table and speak with some of our members and see our trucks.
