⚠️ PLANNED OUTAGE — CEDAR RIVER / PALESTINE

Alger Delta members served by the Palestine Substation will experience a planned power outage on October 30, from 3:30 a.m. to 5:30 a.m. Central Time.

Why is this outage necessary?
Crews will perform preventive maintenance on the lines that supply electricity to our Palestine Substation. This scheduled work allows crews to inspect, maintain, and replace equipment before problems lead to unexpected outages.

⚡ Sparking Interest in the Future! ⚡

Alger Delta Cooperative Electric Association had a great time participating in Mind Trekkers yesterday in Escanaba!

Our employees, Shannon Priebe and Jake Hart, enjoyed meeting with students, sharing what it's like to work in the electric utility industry, and providing hands-on demonstrations of electrical safety.

Using our Electric Town demonstration, students were able to see firsthand how electricity works, learn about potential electrical hazards, and understand the importance of staying safe around power lines and electrical equipment.

It was a great opportunity to introduce young minds to careers in the electric cooperative industry and hopefully inspire a few future lineworkers! ⚡

Thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth and to Mind Trekkers for putting on such a great event!
