🚨🐾 PLEASE HELP US FIND ROSEY & ROCKY! 🐾🚨
We are desperately trying to find our two dogs, Rosey and Rocky, who are still missing. 💔
📍 LAST KNOWN LOCATION: ADOLPHUS, KENTUCKY
🌹 ROSEY — FEMALE
Rosey is a tri-color Beagle with a brown/tan face, black coloring across her back, white chest and legs, and long floppy ears. She is the mama.
🐾 ROCKY — MALE
Rocky is brown/tan with darker ears and white markings on his face and chest. He is a very sweet boy.
❤️ GOOD NEWS: We have found their puppy! 🙏 But Rosey and Rocky are STILL missing, and we desperately want to get them home.
If you live in Adolphus or anywhere in the surrounding area, PLEASE keep an eye out for them. They may have wandered farther than we realize.
If you see either Rosey or Rocky, please message me immediately. Even if you're not 100% sure it's them, PLEASE reach out. A picture, location, or any information could help us bring them home.
🙏 PLEASE SHARE THIS POST! 🙏
We just want our babies safely back home. They are loved, missed, and we are not giving up looking for them. ❤️🐾
ROSEY 🌹 + ROCKY 🐾 — PLEASE COME HOME! 💔

‼️Attention Cat Owners‼️

Tick season is upon us, and with that comes bobcat fever. It seems the number of cases we are seeing increases weekly - it is a real threat in Logan County and surrounding areas!

🐈‍⬛ Bobcat fever is a serious illness that can affect both indoor and outdoor cats after a tick bite. It can progress very quickly, so knowing the signs matters.

Keep an eye out for:

⚠️ Sudden loss of appetite
⚠️ Low energy or hiding more than usual
⚠️ Fever
⚠️ Labored breathing
⚠️ Gums that look pale or yellow

A few simple ways to help protect your cat:

✅️ Use monthly tick prevention (ask us what we recommend!) It is much cheaper than the emergent hospitalization required to try to save a cat that contracts this illness.
✅️ Try to limit outdoor time, especially in grassy or wooded areas
✅️ Do quick tick checks if your cat goes outside

If your cat isn’t acting like themselves, don’t wait—give us a call. We’d rather you check in early than too late!

Please, if you have cats and see nothing else, please pay attention to this.

Cytauxzoonosis Aka 'Bobcat Fever' is rampant in our area. We have already gotten in, and lost, a cat to this disease within 72 hours. We received a call from a lady with a large property with 'working cats'. They are all 'fixed' and vaccinated. She has around 20 cats on the property. She can't always 'catch' all of them each month for their flea/tick preventatives, but does the best she can. Thanks to the lone star tick and 'bobcat fever', she has lost all but 5 in the last 3 weeks.

It's been devastating.

Flea and Tick preventatives are the only solution. Please make sure your cats are on flea/tick preventatives all year round. Even if they're indoor cats. Ticks can come in on your shoes, jeans, the dog, etc. Once infected and noticed, survival rates are not very high at all.

Prevention is life saving.
