UTILITY BILL TEXT NOTIFICATIONS

The City of Great Bend Utility Billing Department has sent out its first text message notifications regarding utility bills.

We want to assure our residents that these messages are not spam. They are legitimate notifications sent directly from the City of Great Bend Utility Billing Department.

These text messages are part of our ongoing effort to improve communication and keep residents informed about their utility bills. We hope this additional notification option will make it easier for residents to stay up to date and aware of their accounts.

Please note: Paper utility bills will continue to be mailed as usual.

Join us at the Great Bend Senior Center for a special morning featuring vocal music performances by USD 428 students in grades K–12! From our youngest singers to our high school vocalists, come enjoy a variety of performances and show these talented students some hometown support.

We love our new floor! Thank you to all the contributors that made this happen for us.

✨ FRIDAY FEATURE | A Fresh Look for the Great Bend Senior Center! ✨

What a way to wrap up the week! 👏🏻

After a busy stretch of tear-out, extensive floor prep, and installing nearly 4,000 square feet of new flooring, our project at the Great Bend Senior Center is officially COMPLETE! 🎉

Today was an especially exciting day as the Senior Center reopened its doors, served lunch, celebrated with a Halloween party, and welcomed everyone back to gather in their newly updated community space! 🎃🧡

Our crew worked long hours, late evenings, and weekends to get this project completed and the space back up and running as quickly as possible.

Featuring Shaw commercial glue-down luxury vinyl plank throughout the main gathering and dining areas, along with Mohawk commercial carpet tile in the entryway, this transformation brings a fresh, updated look to a space that plays such an important role in our community.

We’re incredibly proud of our crew and grateful to have been part of a project that goes beyond new flooring. The Senior Center is a place for meals, friendships, activities, and daily connections for so many in Great Bend, and we’re happy to see it filled with people again! ❤️
