The Next Step!

Centennial Elementary School 5th graders visited Prairie Heights Middle School to prepare for the next step in their academic journey: Middle School!

The Eagles excitedly met Principal Cooney, toured the middle school, spoke with counselors and teachers, learned about extracurriculars, peeked into classrooms, and cheered during a pep assembly. Prairie Heights staff loved meeting their future middle schoolers and answering their questions. It was also fun for Centennial teachers to see where their students will be learning next year!

We love that Prairie Heights provided this opportunity to the Centennial Scholars! We hope this makes the transition to middle school even more exciting!

Happy Halloween, D6! 🎃👻 We hope you have a fun, safe holiday!

There was some great energy at the volleyball game between Greeley Central and Northridge! We love seeing these two teams bring their best while still having fun and enjoying the competition.

Congratulations to Greeley Central on the win! Good luck to the Grizzlies as they take on Loveland to close out their season, and great work to the Wildcats on a fantastic season as well!

Your future is yours to OWN!

We love sharing the amazing stories of our students and their journeys through education. Now, we’re highlighting another of our students from the Career and Technical Education Center and learning why they chose to take advantage of these unique opportunities.

For Raymond, the Cybersecurity and IT program was an opportunity to explore his interests in information technology and cybersecurity while discovering what his future could hold. He wanted to see how the program could help him build his skills and turn his interests into a potential career.

Now in his second year at the CTE Center, Raymond is well on his way to earning certifications and gaining hands-on experience solving real-world problems. He feels confident about his future and knows the CTE Center has helped him build a strong foundation for success!

Own your future and start building your foundation today!

Congratulations to Middle School Athlete of the Week Eduardo Soto Camargo from Prairie Heights Middle School!

"Eddie is a standout student in both the classroom and on the field. He works hard to be a leader in all aspects of his school day. On the field, he is constantly working to improve his own skills while also supporting others who are struggling. He has a coachability that comes natural to him and cannot be taught. He welcomes feedback and makes the changes to improve instantly. He pushes himself to improve each day. Students look up to him and coaches lean on him for his dedication and commitment to excellence. In the classroom, he is a natural leader that pushes all students to do the right thing and complete all needed work." - Kirk Devore, Coach

Congratulations to D6 Athlete of the Week Camden Sutton from Frontier Academy!

"Camden is an excellent worker who has the rare ability to push himself to deeper places than most! He is very coachable and has learned when it's time to push and when it's time to back-off. He draws joy from his success and also quickly moves past the disappointment of races that don't go as expected." - Shane Fanning, Coach

It's Open Enrollment Time!

Beginning Sunday, November 1, 2026, Greeley-Evans School District 6 will accept applications for students who want to attend a school that is outside their boundary area.

The District 6 18–21 Transition Services program has had a busy fall! Students have been out in the community, making connections and exploring opportunities to build valuable life skills. The program supports students with disabilities as they develop the skills they need to succeed in their communities. Through a focus on independent living, effective communication, and workplace responsibility, students gain valuable experiences to help them make the most of life after graduation.

First up, students visited Miller’s Farm, where they picked fresh vegetables and teamed up with District 6 Nutrition Services to turn some of their harvest into delicious soups!

They also stopped by the Poudre Learning Center for outdoor education and fun. With the help of their amazing instructors, students even had a chance to try their hand at archery!

It sounds like the 18–21 Transition Services students have had a fantastic fall full of learning, new experiences, and community connections!
