Saturday was about so much more than celebrating 50 years: it was about celebrating the people who have made those 50 years possible.
To everyone who came out, supported us, encouraged us, and stood beside us Saturday and throughout the years, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Your support is what makes a volunteer fire department strong, and we are incredibly blessed to serve such an amazing community.
A special thank you goes to the men and women of our Volunteer Fire Department. These incredible individuals give their time, their energy, and often put themselves in harm’s way to help their neighbors. They don't do it for recognition, they do it because this is their community. ❤️👨🚒👩🚒
We are also deeply grateful to Broyles General Store, Monterrey Mexican Restaurant, Food City, Ingles, and Lowe’s for their generous donations of flowers and food. Your kindness and generosity helped make this celebration truly special. 💐❤️
For 50 years, this department has been more than trucks, equipment, and fire calls. It has been neighbors helping neighbors, friends answering the call, families serving families, and a community coming together when it matters most.
