That’s a wrap on Halloween fun at LOA! 🎃👻💙💛 From costumes and classroom celebrations to our Trunk-or-Treat festivities, there was plenty of Halloween spirit across campus today!

We loved seeing our Titans celebrate together and make fall memories with friends, teachers, and families.

A huge thank-you to our incredible parents and families who went all out decorating trunks, bringing treats, and helping make the day so special for our students. Your creativity, time, and enthusiasm make LOA traditions like this memorable! 🎃🧡

Paging our eighth-grade Slope Doctors! 🩺📈 Dr. Teal’s students traded a traditional math lesson for a real-world challenge, using graphs, tables, and written scenarios to “diagnose” 12 different patients.

Working in teams, students calculated slope and interpreted what it revealed in each medical scenario, connecting algebra skills to real-world problem-solving.

Scrubs, gloves, calculators, and plenty of critical thinking! We love seeing our Titans bring math to life. 💙💛

Drum roll, please... 🥁🏆The Titan Cup is making its way around campus!

Throughout the school year, our Titans are earning points for demonstrating what it means to be ONE Titan, and those everyday choices are adding up. 💙💛

Congratulations to 1st Grade and 8th Grade, our latest Titan Cup standouts! 🎉 Dr. Teal has been visiting classrooms to deliver the coveted trophy, and judging by these smiles, winning the Titan Cup is a pretty big deal.

What we love most is what the trophy represents: students choosing to contribute positively to their classrooms, their grade levels, and our school community.

Keep it up, Titans. The race for the next Titan Cup is on! 🏆👀

Johnny Appleseed Day was a sweet one in Kindergarten! 🍎🍏

Our Kindergarten Titans recently explored apples through hands-on activities, taste tests, art, and observation, turning a classroom lesson into a full sensory learning experience.

From comparing flavors to creating apple prints and learning about Johnny Appleseed, students used their senses, asked questions, and made connections along the way.

This is what we love about learning at LOA: meaningful lessons, creative teachers, and engaging experiences that bring learning to life! 🍎💙💛

Big news for one of our Titans! 💙💛 LOA junior Jillian Gruszynski has been selected to serve on the 2026–2027 Georgia Superintendent’s Student Advisory Council, joining just 85 students chosen from 1,427 applicants across Georgia.

Throughout the year, Jillian will share student perspectives directly with State School Superintendent Richard Woods and contribute to conversations shaping education across the state.

We’re proud to see Jillian representing LOA and our community in this important role! 🎉

Friday, October 23, is a GOLD Virtual Learning Day and Parent/Teacher Conference Day at LOA.

Titans should log in, review their teachers’ directions, and complete all assigned work by the posted deadlines.

Parent/Teacher Conferences will also take place throughout the day for families with scheduled meetings.

Plan ahead, stay on top of assignments, and have a great virtual learning day, Titans!
