GROWING IDEAS AT HCS!
Ms. Barnhart’s Introduction to Agriculture students have been getting their hands dirty in the name of sustainability! Students gathered materials from around campus and used their creativity and problem-solving skills to design and build their own composting models.
But the learning doesn’t stop there! Working in collaboration with our college Psychology class, students will be conducting research, exploring different composting methods, and evaluating their findings to help determine the most effective composting system for Hancock Central School.
This is hands-on, interdisciplinary learning at its best! Students are putting classroom knowledge into action, collaborating across disciplines, and working toward a real-world solution that will benefit our school community.
We can’t wait to see what they discover!
