4-H Achievement Applications and 4-H Program Area Champions are new to some of you, but they offer a great opportunity. They recognize youth for accomplishments during their 4-H career and help them build skills in record-keeping, completing applications, and possibly interviewing.

Youth who complete the application will be recognized at the county and state levels.

Financial scholarships are awarded to youth who earn bronze, silver, gold, or emerald levels at the county and state levels. Senior 4-H youth can also apply to attend National 4-H Congress, a top achievement for Senior 4-H Youth. The state and county 4-H program sponsor this trip. This year, Mercer County has one delegate selected to represent KY 4-H: Ms. Jolie Cochran. She will be one of 30 delegates representing KY in Atlanta, Georgia, in November.

Youth can start the program at any time. They must be between 10 and 19 years old.

Applications are Due November 15
