📬 2026 REAL ESTATE & PERSONAL PROPERTY TAX STATEMENTS SHOULD BE ARRIVING IN YOUR MAILBOX NEXT WEEK!

Please be on the lookout for your 2026 Wright County tax statements in the mail. Here’s a quick reminder of what you should expect:

🚗 Personal Property Taxes: If you own a vehicle, boat, trailer, equipment, or other taxable personal property, you should receive a personal property tax statement. Remember, you MUST submit an assessment form to the Assessor’s Office EVERY YEAR to ensure you are assessed correctly and receive an accurate tax statement.

🏡 Real Estate Taxes: If you own land or a home, you should receive a real estate tax statement, unless your taxes are escrowed and paid through your mortgage company or bank then the statement will be mailed to them per their request.

If you are enrolled in our prepayment program, you will still receive a tax statement. Once your final ACH payment has been collected, you will receive a paid receipt.

📞 Have questions or need assistance?
Collector’s Office: 417-741-7225 — Questions about your tax statement or payments.
Assessor’s Office: 417-741-6400 — If you need to be assessed, submit an assessment form, or make changes to your current assessment.

We offer three convenient ways to pay: in person at our office, by mail, or by credit card through our website.

Please make sure your payment is for the full amount owed, including all penalties and interest if delinquent. Payment for an incorrect amount will be returned as we cannot process partial or over payments.

Please help us spread the word by sharing this post! We want to make sure everyone receives the information they need to avoid any surprises when tax statements arrive.

Had a great time attending the 2026 Missouri County Collectors’ Association (MCCA) Conference!

It’s always valuable to step away from the office and connect with fellow collectors from across the state sharing ideas, learning about updates, and working together to better serve our communities. The knowledge and insight gained at this conference helps us continue improving the service we provide right here in our county.
