🍎🔢 Math is more fun when you can build it! 🎲✨

Our 2nd graders had a blast playing the “Roll It, Make It, Expand It” Place Value Game with Mrs. Eade! 🧀🥨🍫

Students rolled numbers and used Cheez-Its to represent hundreds, pretzel sticks for tens, and mini M&M’s for ones. They built their numbers, wrote them in expanded form, and explored different ways to decompose them. ➕💡

Learning came with a tasty twist!🎨👏

¡Nuestros alumnos de 2.º grado se lo pasaron genial con el juego de valor posicional “Roll It, Make It, Expand It” con Mrs. Eade! 🧀🥨🍫

⚽️🌎 Different jerseys, different stories, one community.

This Hispanic Heritage Month, we’re celebrating the cultures, traditions, and stories that connect us — from Spain, Colombia, Puerto Rico, Chile, México, and so many more. Different countries, different traditions, different jerseys… but one beautiful language that brings us together ❤️

And just like in the World Cup, we may cheer for different teams, but today we’re all on the same team😉

We’re proud of where we come from and grateful to the United States for welcoming us, opening doors, and giving us a place to learn, teach, work, grow, and dream.

Happy Hispanic Heritage Month!
