Mutual Aid Forcible Entry Training
Last night, your Harvest Volunteers played host to Toney Volunteer Fire & Rescue for a night of forcible entry training. Topics included door size-up, primary and secondary lock types, hand tool selection, and conventional forcible entry techniques for inward and outward opening doors. Utilizing our door prop from Tradesman Fire & Fabrication, members were able to work through different scenarios to increase their forcible entry skillset. Thank you to Toney VFD for coming out and training with us!

GoPro footage from Firefighter Tristan Barrett and Captain Josh Collier gives you a firsthand look at the work taking place inside during a recent structure fire. Interior firefighting is demanding work that requires preparation, discipline, teamwork, and trust in the crew beside you. Your Harvest Volunteers believe in firemanship; from the Fire Chief down to the newest probationary firefighter, we emphasize hands-on training to reflect our tactics. Our mission is to make the interior to conduct searches and put water on the fire.
