A huge shoutout to the incredible Water Safety program taking place at STEAM High School!

Thanks to, Athletic Director, Frank Williams, and our community partnership with the YMCA, STEAM students earned certifications to teach swim lessons and have spent the past several weeks helping younger students from Berkeley, Lee-Hamilton, and Griffith build confidence and skills in the water.

With support from YMCA staff, and district team members, this program is a great example of students learning, leading, and giving back โ€” all while creating meaningful opportunities for each other.

This is what intentional partnerships and student-centered opportunities look like in action. ๐Ÿ’™
