Trump in his personal capacity sued the IRS, an agency he controls, for $10B. In the suit, he demanded blanket immunity for taxes filed prior to him suing himself for himself, his family, and his businesses. He dropped the suit before the IRS answered, and the Court agreed, but with the express caveat that there was no settlement agreement. Once news came to light about this alleged settlement, that set up a $1.776B “anti-weaponization fund,” to Trump allies as determined by a 5-member committee appointed by Trump’s personal lawyer turned acting Secretary of the Department of Justice (all of whom fireable at will by Trump himself), a group of 35 retired federal judges asked that the Court reopen the case to determine whether a fraud on the Court was committed by Trump and the DOJ. Now, a group of former IRS employees, including an ex-IRS commissioner, has entered the chat, alleging that this blanket immunity is not just a violation of the tax code, but also a violation of the Domestic Emoluments Clause of the U.S. Constitution. All roads lead to collusion.

The Heritage Foundation is sending racism and xenophobia to people’s homes and asking for their signature. This letter arrived at the home of a family member of mine who lives in Virginia’s first district. This family member is a U.S. citizen albeit born in a different country. This is some sort of survey on mass deportation that they want you to sign whether or not you’re participating in it. Do not sign it.
