Exciting News for Liberty Village Apartments! 🏡

Umatilla County Housing Authority is proud to announce that we've received a $20,000 grant from the Wildhorse Foundation to support the development of Liberty Village Apartments!

This new 17-unit affordable housing community will serve veterans experiencing or at risk of homelessness, providing much-needed access to safe, stable, and affordable housing.

This generous grant will help address rising construction costs and move the project closer to construction, with anticipated completion in 2027.

💙 A heartfelt thank you to the Wildhorse Foundation for investing in our community and helping us take another step toward expanding housing opportunities for those who have served.

🏡 What does it mean to be a good neighbor?

Sometimes it’s as simple as a wave, keeping an eye out for each other, or helping someone who needs a hand.

It also means helping keep your neighborhood safe.

You should never feel that you have to ignore criminal or seriously unsafe activity just because it is happening next door. If something is an immediate danger, call 911. For non-emergency concerns, contact local law enforcement or your property management when appropriate.

Most importantly, don’t confront someone or put yourself in harm’s way. Report what you actually see or hear, not rumors or assumptions.

We can disagree, live differently, and still treat one another with respect. But everyone deserves a community where they can feel safe in their own home.

Good neighbors look out for one another. ❤️

Jessica is a proud mom of five and shares life with her incredible husband. Originally from the Oregon Coast, she has spent the past 16 years in the Tri-Cities.

She brings a strong sense of curiosity and community to her work, always looking for new things to learn and ways to make a positive impact.

Outside of work, Jessica enjoys a wide range of activities, including crafting, sewing, kayaking, hiking, camping, traveling, and riding her motorcycle.
