OUR VISION: To inspire everyone we encounter to a thriving and purposeful life in Christ

Safe Harbor's Whole Woman Residential Program is a free year-long residential program for women in recovery that focuses on holistic healing in an intentional Christ-centered community aimed at long-term recovery through connection that empowers women to renew, rebuild and recover. Safe Harbor's Greenleaf Transitional Housing Program provides low-cost, furnished, clean and safe apartments in a community for women and children looking for structure and support while preparing for successful independent living as they are offered services and taught life skills. Safe Harbor's Day Center offers a safe place for women and children who are at risk for homelessness to access an array of services through a trained Services Navigator and provides meals, showers, laundry facilities and transportation. Safe Harbor's On Purpose Classes are designed to help women in our programs and our community discover their purpose in life, their identity in Christ, and experience freedom. Candy overload? We've got a sweet solution! 🍬

It's hard to believe we're just WEEKS away from the Hickory Christmas Parade on November 20!

If your church, organization, or family ends up with extra candy after a Trunk or Treat, Fall Festival, or other Halloween festivities, we'd LOVE to take it off your hands!

Not every victory looks the same. And that's what makes each one so special.

For one woman, it may be a new beginning. For another, an answered prayer. For someone else, it may simply be finding the courage to take the next step.

Different circumstances. Different seasons. Different reasons to celebrate.

But through it all, we see the goodness of God.

We never want to become so focused on what's next that we forget to thank Him for what He's already done.

And our prayer is that each of us, no matter what chapter we're walking through, will continue to lean into Him, trust Him, and praise Him along the way.

Because His faithfulness is worth celebrating in every season. 🙌

As we close out this year, we'll be sharing more about the life-changing impact a safe, reliable place to call home can have on women and children ready for a new beginning.

🔔 Hear that bell? That's the sound of a NEW BEGINNING!

Elizabeth rang the bell in our Community Center to celebrate moving into our Whole Woman Residence, and we couldn't be more excited for her!

We believe God has incredible things in store for her, and we are so grateful to be part of this chapter of her story.

Here's to new beginnings, growing in faith, and all the little and BIG victories still to come!

Survival mode was never meant to be a lifestyle.

Some women have spent so many years just trying to get through today that they've forgotten what it feels like to dream about tomorrow.

When life has been filled with uncertainty, fear, and simply trying to make ends meet, planning for a future can feel impossible.

But God didn't create us to live without hope.

And sometimes, hope begins with something as simple as feeling safe. Having someone believe in you. Knowing you don't have to figure everything out alone.

At Safe Harbor, we get to witness what happens when women are given the space, support, and encouragement to begin looking beyond survival.

They start setting goals. Discovering their strengths. Finding their voices. And believing that their stories aren't over.

Survival may have been part of their story, but through God's grace, it doesn't have to be the rest of it. 💙
