🍎🍂 Fall Fun, Learning & Friendship at THE ANSWER INC (Autism Awareness & Support Agency) Spectrum University!

Our students continued exploring the wonderful season of autumn through fun, hands-on activities centered around apples! From completing worksheets to creating an interactive activity where they fed apples to a hungry pig, our students enjoyed learning while practicing important skills.

But Spectrum University is about so much more than completing activities. 💙

Each week, we’re creating an environment where students can build meaningful relationships with their peers, strengthen their social and communication skills, and feel supported as they learn and grow.

💙 POWERFUL PARENTS OF AUTISM | PARENT SUPPORT GROUP

Today, The Answer Inc. brought parents together for a meaningful conversation about “The Silent Grief of Raising a Child on the Autism Spectrum.”

We were honored to welcome grief counselor Leslie Maggett, who provided valuable insight, encouragement, and support while addressing the emotions and challenges that parents and caregivers may experience but rarely have the opportunity to discuss.

At The Answer Inc., we believe that supporting a child also means supporting the family behind them. Through our Powerful Parents of Autism Support Group, we are creating a space where parents can connect, share experiences, access resources, and know they are not alone.

We encourage our parents to get involved! If you need additional support, guidance, or resources for your child, please reach out to us. We are continuously working to identify and connect families with resources that meet their needs.

From exploring ingredients to making their own delicious fall treat, students practiced following directions, working together, and building everyday life skills while enjoying the flavors of the season.

Today, in recognition of National Stop Bullying Day, we kicked off our Bullying Is Not the Answer program at PAEC High School!

We didn’t just talk about bullying, we investigated it! Our students became detectives, searching for clues, examining scenarios, and delivering their verdict: Is it bullying or not?

Through interactive activities and discussions, students learned to recognize different forms of bullying and the importance of speaking up.

CASE CLOSED! 🔍 Because kindness, respect, and using our voices make a difference!
