They asked, and we listened!! So excited to share, after several months of planning, the Senior Committee, along with Homer Township Administration, will be starting Homer Township’s Operation Senior Shovel (OSS) Program, which provides free snow removal assistance during the winter months for senior citizens and individuals living with disabilities who are physically unable to clear their own walkways and driveways. Through the generosity of Snow Angel Volunteers, the program pairs residents in need with neighbors who can assist during snow events. This vital service promotes safe mobility, reduces isolation, and helps vulnerable residents stay safe at home.

We appreciate your patience as we implement this new program. The committee plans to secure volunteers before releasing the form to seniors and will provide further details to all volunteers.
