Bringing together senior executives, government representatives, industry leaders, and energy experts from both Brazil and the United States, this year’s event reinforced the 𝐠𝐫𝐨𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐁𝐫𝐚𝐳𝐢𝐥–𝐓𝐞𝐱𝐚𝐬 𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐲 𝐫𝐞𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 at a time when global energy security, innovation, and long-term investment have never been more relevant.

The discussions throughout the morning highlighted Brazil’s expanding role in the global energy landscape, the strength of the offshore sector, new opportunities for investment and technological development, and the importance of collaboration between industry, government, and academia.

The conversation focused on strengthening business connections between Texas and Brazil, with particular attention to opportunities in the energy sector.

Martinelli’s partners shared insights into their work supporting companies across both markets, highlighting the importance of Texas as a key for international business and energy investment. On behalf of the 𝐁𝐫𝐚𝐳𝐢𝐥–𝐓𝐞𝐱𝐚𝐬 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐜𝐞, they delivered in person a formal letter to the Office of 𝐌𝐚𝐲𝐨𝐫 𝐉𝐨𝐡𝐧 𝐖𝐡𝐢𝐭𝐦𝐢𝐫𝐞 regarding BRATECC’s preparations for an upcoming event to be hosted later this year at City Hall in celebration of the Chamber’s 25𝐭𝐡 𝐀𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐚𝐫𝐲.

The meeting also reaffirmed the 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 built over the years 𝐛𝐞𝐭𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐁𝐑𝐀𝐓𝐄𝐂𝐂 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐲𝐨𝐫’𝐬 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞, a collaboration that has been instrumental in supporting the Chamber’s mission of strengthening and fostering the bilateral relationship between Texas and Brazil for more than two decades.

The occasion further provided an opportunity to share BRATECC’s plans for the coming years and to formally introduce the Chamber’s 2026–2027 Board of Directors, who will continue advancing this important work.

We sincerely appreciate the continued openness, collaboration, and support of the City of Houston and the Office of Mayor John Whitmire as we look ahead to this important milestone for our organization and community.
