Earlier this morning McCurtain County Deputies Captain Alvin Moss and Sgt Blake Helton got into a pursuit with a stolen truck out of Wright City.
They pursued the truck into Red River County Texas. The driver identified as Logan Cox ditched the vehicle in a pine thicket and ran on foot about 4 miles south of the Hwy 37 bridge.

McCurtain County deputies along with Red River county deputies locked the area down with the help of Texas State Troopers and Game Wardens.

At approx 1930 hrs or 7:30pm Red River County deputies and McCurtain County deputies apprehended Logan Cox on Hwy 37 just north of where the vehicle was abandoned.

Thank you to the Red River County Sheriffs Office, Texas DPS, and Texas Wildlife for the assistance.

Good job by everyone.
