WOW this past week has been an absolute whirlwind of the best kind of chaos. The fun started last Friday night with our BASH celebration, then we had our Kindergarten Sendoff, water safety presentations, National Day state projects, 5th Grade Promotion celebration, Field Day, and our Upper Elementary Glow Dance. We sent our students home for the summer feeling celebrated and completely exhausted.

The free Wi-Fi hot spot lending program at the Indianapolis Public Library is back.
Wi-Fi hot spot devices are available on a first-come, first-served basis, and are only available to adult library cardholders whose accounts are in good standing.
They cannot be held, renewed or requested in advance. A household can use one device for up to three weeks.
The library will offer 80 Wi-Fi hot spots across eight branches, down from 15.
Branches have been added or removed to focus on offering reliable internet access to residents who have a greater need.

Happy Earth Day! Our students have been busy working in our school garden breaking up the soil, weeding, planting bulbs and seeds, and adding soil and compost to our vegetable beds. 🌎

Friends and neighbors: Our food box has moved! The bigger of the two boxes is currently out of commission due to construction, but the smaller blue one is still accessible.
It doesn’t hold as much so we’re checking it more often. It’s currently got some rice and beans, oatmeal, some soups, some canned vegetables, some macaroni and cheese, and some lentils.

We conducted an informal poll at morning car rider line. In a surprise to nobody, the pre-k/kindergarten boys were the students who were the most impressed with this GIGANTIC hole being dug by an excavator in our front-yard construction zone.
