Have you seen these signs at our parks this year? Ten of our Indy Parks are directly one the White River and part of the larger White Riverway across Marion and Hamilton Counties. 🦉 Whooooo joined us at Holliday Park - Indy Parks and Recreation last weekend for another year of Hauntless Halloween?!

From candlelit trails and performances to pumpkin painting and s'mores, these moments will become memories for years to come. 🎃🕯️

Thank you to the staff, volunteers, and native forest friends from the Booth Tarkington Civic Theater for putting together such a fun experience for our visitors!

This morning, Deputy Mayor Shea Joyce, City-County Councilor Leroy Robinson, and Indy Parks cut the ribbon on one of the tallest playgrounds in Indianapolis at WISH Park! This project, funded through both the Lilly Endowment Grant and $1 million from Councilor Robinson, includes this new playground, shelter, parking lot, and paved walking path. Be sure to swing by and enjoy the fall weather! 🛝🍂

IT’S HAUNT SEASON AT INDY ISLAND!

Indy Island will have NO swimming hours this weekend as we get spooky!

Christian Park is getting ready to celebrate the end of construction. Established in 1921 and spread across 73 acres along Pleasant Run Creek, this beloved east‑side park has welcomed generations of families with its trails, playgrounds, sports fields, courts, shelters, and year‑round programs for all ages. ⁠

Thanks to funding from the Lilly Endowment, the park is now receiving exciting new playground upgrades that will make it an even more inviting place for the community to enjoy.
