A huge thank you to our fabulous partners, Educational Destinations and 185 Promotions & Apparel for helping our Penn MS 8th Grade Trip come to life! Thank you for being part of the Penn family!

Today, our 8th graders who met very impressive academic and behavioral requirements this school year enjoyed a celebratory trip to Kings Island! It was a great day! We are looking forward to celebrating all of our 8th Graders at our 8th Grade Dance next Saturday and our 8th Grade Promotion a week from Tuesday!

Today, our Penn Boys Soccer Team emerged victorious! In a 9am game against the TC Howe Hornets, our Tigers won 1-0!

Our next tournament game will be at Broad Ripple at 7 pm on Monday, May 4th!

Greetings, all! This is Principal Thompson! Instead of letting anyone post about me on Principal Appreciation Day…which would be dumb…because I am definitely not cool enough to warrant a post…I will take my post and dedicate it to the two fabulous people in this picture with me. Assistant Principal, Jake Hunter and our Dean of Students, Rocio Cisneros are two of the best humans in the ENTIRE world. I could not imagine the last two years without them, and I am forever grateful for everything they have brought to the Penn community, our Penn students, and to my life. Today and every day this principal celebrates the two of them!

IPS has announced a shift to e-learning. See everybody on 1A at 9am. Thanks!

Indianapolis Public Schools has decided to transition to a Synchronous E-Learning Day today, Wednesday, January 28.

2 hour delay for Wednesday as of now…but MAY shift to e-learning due to morning temps, wind chill, etc. IPS will make the call by 6am! If e-learning, will jump on 1A at 9am.

Indianapolis Public Schools is currently planning to operate on a 2-hour delay for Wednesday, Jan. 28. However, the forecasted temperature and windchill for tomorrow may require us to move to a synchronous e-learning day. We will assess the weather again in the morning to determine if an additional adjustment should be made. An update will be shared before 6 a.m. Wednesday.
