Community Resource Day is back!

Join us on October 3 for a free, family-friendly day connecting our neighbors with helpful resources from organizations across Central Indiana.

Visitors can connect with community organizations, learn about utility assistance and energy-saving programs, enjoy activities for kids and more. We'll also have free food vouchers for the first 500 visitors and backpacks and school supplies available while supplies last.

October 3 | 10 a.m.–1 p.m.
2020 N. Meridian St., Indianapolis

On Monday, we attended the annual partner meeting at Gleaners Food Bank of Indiana Inc.. Our pantry is very grateful for their support and advocacy for eliminating food insecurity. Here are a few of the highlights:

- Gleaners serves: 296 pantries, 26 mobile pantries, 60 school based pantries, and their own onsite pantry. Gleaners also offers home deliveries & a new Gleaners2Go program.

- 47.9 million food insecure in our nation. 14.1 million are children. 1.1 million people are food insecure in Indiana.

- Poor nutrition is the leading cause of illness in our nation
