All across the nation and beyond, 9/25 has been designated as "Give Like Dolly Day". There are several ways you can give like Dolly! Within our community, we provide almost 2000 books each month to children within Ionia ISD. That costs approximately $4600.00 per month. If you would like to give to our program on that day we would welcome your support. A gift of approximately $30.00 provides a child with books for an entire year, $135.00 supports a child for all 5 years in the program. Donate here: https://donate.imaginationlibrary.com/
The second way you can "Give like Dolly" is to tell other people about the program. If you have friends, family, co-workers etc. that live within Ionia ISD, let them know they can sign up for the program. Enroll here: https://imaginationlibrary.com/
Finally, if your child participates in the program please comment or share a picture on Friday 9/25 on our page and let us know what your child's favorite book is and how you are using the books to support shared reading experiences in your home. The Ionia Imagination is funded by donations from schools, businesses grants and other interested individuals. Our funders love to know how much you are enjoy and VALUE this program.
So we invite everyone, businesses, organizations, groups, individuals to make your plan to show your love. Get ready to next Friday 9/25/26.
