🐝🍯 That's a Wrap for 2026! 🐝🍂

We ended our year with one final Community Outreach event at Clearview Elementary School's Fall Fellowship!

What a fantastic time we had talking about honeybees, sharing our love of beekeeping, and handing out honey sticks to all the children! 🍯🐝

It was wonderful seeing so many smiling faces, creative costumes, and children having such a great time!

The Onslow County Beekeepers Association would like to thank everyone who welcomed us into their schools, events, and communities throughout 2026. Your support and enthusiasm make our outreach programs so rewarding!

We can't wait to get back out into our communities next year, educating, sharing, and inspiring the next generation of beekeepers!

🐝 BEE on the lookout for us in 2027! 🐝

🐝 B is for Bees! 🐝

This past Friday, we had the wonderful opportunity to visit Enon Baptist Church Preschool and share our love and knowledge of honeybees with the 2, 3, and 4-year-olds!

The children were very attentive, listened closely, and asked some great questions! They are currently learning about the letter B, so what better way to bring their lessons to life than learning about our amazing honeybees! 🐝🍯

It's always a joy to see young minds so curious and excited about nature. These little learners are our future, and introducing them to the importance of honeybees and pollinators at such a young age makes these visits extra special.

A big thank you to Enon Baptist Church Preschool for inviting us to spend the morning with these wonderful children!

Onslow County Beekeepers Association – Heritage Day 2026! 🐝

This past Friday, we had the pleasure of participating in Heritage Day at the Onslow County Museum!

What an incredible experience! We had the opportunity to speak with 447 fourth-grade students from schools all across Onslow County!

Although our time with each class was limited, we made every minute count! The students were full of curiosity, excitement, and wonderful questions about honeybees and beekeeping.

As always, our observation hive was a big hit! There's something special about watching children's faces light up as they get an up-close look at a living, working honeybee colony. 🐝🍯

Seeing so many young smiles, curious minds, and bright futures reminds us why community outreach and education are such an important part of what we do.

A huge thank you to the Onslow County Museum for inviting us to be part of this wonderful event!

447 students, countless smiles, and hopefully a few future beekeepers! 🐝

Please message us if you have an event that you would like us to speak at. 2027 year is already shaping up to be a busy season
