TRAVEL ALERT: Motorists should expect lane closures on the Newport Pell Bridge Monday, October 26 and Tuesday, October 27.

→ Westbound: Right lane closed from 7:00 a.m. Monday, October 26, until 3:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 27.

→ Eastbound: Left lane closed from 9:00 a.m. Monday, October 26, until 3:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 27.

Please use caution when traveling through the work zones and allow extra travel time.

Motorists traveling over the Mount Hope Bridge should expect alternating lane closures during the following times:

Daytime Closures:
Monday–Thursday: 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Friday: 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

Nighttime Closures:
October 25–29, November 1–5,
7:00 p.m. – 5:00 a.m.

Please plan ahead, allow extra travel time, and use caution when traveling through the work zones.

Newport Pell Bridge Travel Advisory: Traffic will be one-lane heading:
· Westbound (towards Jamestown) 10/26 at 7AM until 10/27 at 3AM
· Eastbound (towards Newport) 10/26 at 9AM until 10/27 at 3AM
Please allow for additional travel time.

Mount Hope Bridge Traffic Update: Nighttime electrical work has been postponed and will now take place 10/26 –11/13, with alternating lane closures Monday – Friday from 7pm to 5am. Daytime lane closures will continue as scheduled.
