Missouri plays at Georgia on Saturday, Nov. 14 at noon. Kick your day off right with a hearty breakfast before cheering our Tigers on to V-I-C-T-O-R-Y.
Central Church is hosting its next Breakfast Bonanza from 7:30-10:30am on Saturday, Nov. 14. Made-from-scratch biscuits, gravy, pancakes, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, coffee/milk/juice -- all you can eat, $12 for adults, $6 for kids 6-12. kids 5 & under eat free. Carry-outs are available.
We hold these breakfasts on the second Saturday of the month, October through April (except for December), weather permitting. Profits from the breakfast are then donated to a specified local charitable organization.
For this breakfast, the profits will be donated to Jefferson City Room at the Inn. Room at the Inn is an emergency, low-barrier overnight homeless shelter that operates during the winter months. They provide a hot meal and a warm place to sleep on cold nights for individuals with nowhere else to go.
It's also about the time of year that they'll be looking for volunteers to bring meals or fill shifts, so please watch for those opportunities and consider helping. Community helping community, and Jefferson City is one amazingly helpful community.
Central Church is located at 118 W. Ashley St. in Jefferson City, 2 blocks south of US50 in Jefferson City. (Just look for our steeple.)
