*** FYI - EXPECTED PHONE AND INTERNET OUTAGE THIS AFTERNOON ***

As we shared in a districtwide email earlier today, some of our Lamoille North schools have experienced phone issues, including repeated dropped calls over the last several days.

After speaking with our phone and internet provider, Fidium Fiber, we identified the issue as a problem with their equipment and outside the district's control.

Fidium Fiber has confirmed a technician will be onsite at 3:30 PM today to repair the failed equipment. We anticipate a temporary districtwide phone and internet outage during this work.

All schools will maintain access to their dedicated emergency telephone lines, and after-school programs will continue as scheduled.

CES 4th, 5th, and 6th graders are hoping to sell 600 dozen doughnuts to help them fundraise for their annual Winter Wellness Days. Each year, through the generosity of many community members and the Cambridge Area Rotary, students are able to spend a week skiing and riding on the slopes of Smugglers' Notch Resort!

You can help them achieve their goal by purchasing a dozen doughnuts or by making a donation. Visit our school website to learn more! Order deadline is 11/4.

Time is Running Out — Make Your Voice Heard! 📣

There’s still time to share your thoughts in the 2026 Lamoille North Community Survey — but time is running out!

We want to hear from students, families, staff, community members, taxpayers, alums, business owners, and others about what matters most to you for our schools.

The survey asks about student opportunities, communication, school safety, budget priorities, and where our schools can grow. We’re also asking a few questions about the education transformation conversations happening across Vermont and what you believe should be prioritized and protected as potential changes are considered.

Today is National IT Professionals Day!

We’re taking a moment to recognize the Lamoille North IT team and the work they do each day to support our schools, students, and staff.

Much of their work happens behind the scenes: troubleshooting problems, maintaining systems, supporting staff, protecting district information, keeping essential services running, and responding when something simply isn’t working the way it should.

Their job touches nearly every corner of our district, and it often requires patience, problem-solving, and a willingness to jump in and help at a moment’s notice.

Today, we want to thank our IT professionals for the time, expertise, and care they bring to Lamoille North every day. We appreciate all you do!

We had so much fun last week at the Lamoille North Supervisory Union & School District BBQ- it was great to see so many familiar faces and hear about all of the amazing things happening across Lamoille North! A big thanks to sixth grade students Kye, Ada, and Amelia who showcased CES with so much professionalism and enthusiasm!
