At Footprints & Friends Too, we provide a safe, nurturing, and enriching environment where children learn, grow, and thrive.

We prepare every child for the next step of their educational journey while inspiring a lifelong love of learning. Hours of Operation: 6:30am to 6:00pm

Our highly qualified teachers and staff are committed to working within each child’s comfort zone to ensure optimal social, emotional and educational results. The Spacious Preschool Classroom has a place for Afterschoolers to do their homework and projects for school with access to tutoring/assistance as needed. Also Available to students, are games, crafts, snacks, and physical activities.

Happy Anniversary, Kim!

How many years are we celebrating? Well, that’s a little tricky! 😂 Kim spent five years working at our other location, ventured into another industry, and has now found her way back to Footprints & Friends Too!

She’s not only back doing what she loves in the infant room, helping our littlest learners reach their milestones, but she’s also learning new skills and growing her knowledge of the business side of things. Talk about continuing to grow and challenge yourself!

Kim, thank you for your dedication over the years and for being willing to learn, grow, and take on new challenges. We’re so grateful to have you as part of our team!

Here’s to celebrating the journey, embracing new opportunities, and continuing to make a difference in the lives of the children and families we serve. We’re so glad you’re back!

Did you know you can order Scholastic books through our preschool every month?

One of the best things we can do for our little learners is help them fall in love with reading! Every month, you have the opportunity to order books online, and we even have a classroom wish list so our teachers can add new books to read with their students.

A BIG thank-you to one of our wonderful families who ordered THREE books from our classroom wish list! Your generosity helps us add new stories to our classrooms and create even more special reading moments with our little learners. We appreciate you!

RAISING A LEGEND STARTS WITH THE LITTLE THINGS.

Birth to age five is a crucial time for building trust, confidence, empathy, emotional regulation, and relationships.

The good news? It doesn’t take perfection—just small, consistent moments of connection.

Try to:

Make eye contact and listen.

Read together.

Name and validate their feelings.

Comfort them when they struggle.

Celebrate effort, not just results.

Let them try things independently.

Model kindness and empathy.

Make bedtime a calm time to connect, listen, and remind them how loved they are.

You don’t have to do everything every day. Consistency matters more than perfection.

The goal isn’t to raise a perfect child—it’s to raise a child who feels loved, capable, and ready to face life with kindness and courage.

Little hands and footprints, BIG Halloween fun at Footprints & Friends!

Who knew our little handprints and footprints could turn into such cute little ghosts?! Our kiddos had a blast exploring Halloween-themed sensory fun!

Activities like these are more than just adorable keepsakes. They help build fine motor skills, encourage creativity, engage the senses, and give little learners the chance to explore through play.

Around here, we’re making memories one little handprint at a time!

One of the most beautiful things to witness in early childhood is a child showing empathy.

Watching a little one gently care for a baby doll, comfort them, or pretend to meet their needs is about so much more than play. It’s a glimpse of those social-emotional skills beginning to grow!

This is exactly why Baby Doll Circle Time is so important in early childhood. We’re creating opportunities for our students to practice kindness, recognize feelings, show compassion, and learn how to care for others.

We’re not just teaching little ones what empathy is. We’re giving them opportunities to practice it, experience it, and grow into it.

And honestly? Watching those little hearts learn to care for others is one of the sweetest parts of what we do.

Learning through play!

Check out our student working on her fine motor skills with the Learn My Shapes Magnetic Board.

As she guides the magnetic ball to trace squares, triangles, and circles, she’s building shape recognition, hand-eye coordination, and fine motor control.

It’s amazing how one fun activity can support so many important early learning skills!

When your students are birth to preschool, play is learning!

Check out this fun activity with suction-cup spinning toys! What looks like simple play is actually helping our little ones build important skills like hand-eye coordination, fine motor strength, reaching, grasping, visual tracking, cause-and-effect, and problem-solving.

Those little hands are working hard—and those little brains are learning even harder!
